Special Events
The Savannah Area Convention & Visitors Bureau produces three signature events that are designed to further the mission of the Savannah Special Events Committee. These events are planned to take place in the months identified by the Special Events Committee as being slower tourism times.
ArtSquared Savannah
ArtSquared Savannah, held in July, is a celebration of the burgeoning art scene in Savannah. ArtSquared features art galleries in the Savannah Historic District and is an excellent opportunity to sample Savannah’s eclectic group of artists and galleries. ArtSquared combines art, music and culinary delights through gallery hops, gallery hosted open houses and musical performances.
Savannah Craft Brew Fest
Held on Labor Day Weekend, the Savannah Craft Brew Fest features the best of American craft brews. The two-day event begins with a gourmet food and brew pairings dinner on Friday evening and a beer tasting event on Saturday featuring about 35 breweries with more than 100 of their tastiest craft brews to sample.
Savannah’s Holiday Frolic
Savannah’s Holiday Frolic kicks off the holiday season in the Savannah Historic District. The weekend following Thanksgiving, Savannah comes alive with the sights and sounds that make the holiday bright. The sidewalks of the Historic District are filled with people enjoying a snow area, a skating rink, shopping, food and musical performances.
