Where is a great place to see and experience local architecture in your city?
Monterey Square in the Historic District. It features the Mercer-Williams house which was made famous by the book “Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil” and is an example Italianate-style architecture. Also on the square is the Temple Mickve Israel, the third oldest congregation practicing Reformed Judaism in the United States.
Hands down, what is your favorite local event or festival?
The Savannah Jazz Festival. It lasts a week and takes place at many of Savannah’s great outdoor venues.
