What We're Doing for the Environment:
1. Our hotel(s) have been working with our vendors to ensure we are taking advantage of environmentally friendly products i.e.: Sysco (reusable containers for food shipments), BevNaps made w/recycled paper, Coffee Cups and wraps made with recycled paper. RotoRooter brings our used kitchen grease to waste facilities for recycling.
2. We have brought community service as part of our off-site pre/post programming by working with the local Habitat chapter. We have an American Bar Association meeting in March that will be using this for their teambuilding and I am offering the option to other groups. It helps lengthen the group stay as well, always a plus.
3. Digital thermostats in all the rooms to reduce heating and cooling emissions.
4. Compact fluorescent bulbs throughout both hotels.
5. Low flush toilets and low flow showerheads throughout both hotels.
