Home Depot stores in Savannah will be hosting a free Kids Workshop on Sept. 4. Kids ages 5-12 can build their own wooden football display while learning the values of safety and preparing for the unexpected in recognition of National Preparedness Month. Every child who attends will receive a Ready Georgia activity book featuring Rex, the Ready Kids mascot, as well as a kid-sized orange apron and an achievement pin.
